Origin of the Company:
RONA is a Canadian company that was founded in Quebec in 1939. Rona operates over 516 stores throughout Canada and is the leading distributor and retailer in its market. The name comes from ROlland Dansereau and NApoleon Piotte, two of the founders of the company.
Most new RONA stores are large warehouses found in city centres but there are many small town stores still in existence from before this new direction was undertaken.
Rona has partnered with Air Miles to enable you to collect points while shopping. Take advantage of special offers to increase the number of points you collect. Rona also offers select, limited time only coupons for extra Air Miles so be sure to look for coupons on the website before you head to the store.
Check out Rona Tuesdays where you can enjoy exclusive advantages that are only offered on Tuesdays. Prizes change regularly but use your bonus code when shopping on Tuesday to win gift-cards for your next DIY project at Rona. You could win $10 000!
Rona cares about the environment. Rona regularly runs energy-efficient rebate programs and specials to help consumers like you upgrade to energy efficient lighting and appliances. You can feel good about shopping with the Rona Garden Centre where quality processes ensure that 95% of all plants were grown without the use of neonicotinoids which are harmful to bee populations.
